I really like the idea of this site and what you guys are doing but it's hard for me to tell how accurate your analysis of this particular track by Jake Owen is because I could not listen to it all the way through to the end. I found it repulsively cheezy and derivative and the fantasy he was painting did not appeal to me (a female who hates country music and rednecks) in the least. I would like to see an analysis of why CRAP songs become hits. In other words why is what I find cheezy, repulsive and derivative absolutely irresistible to millions of others? I'd like to think it's just because I have good taste but in that case, I still want to know why bad taste is so popular? Thoughts hit hackers? xxx
